Come along to No88 on Thursday, October 1, 2026, for a bit of bubbly, a delicious meal, and some conversation with fellow wool enthusiasts!

We will gather in the top floor of the restaurant at 6:00 pm for a sparkling drink. You will be able to choose from an alcoholic or non-alcoholic option, included in your ticket price.

At 6:30 pm, we will move into the dining area, and meal service will begin. Because of the size of the party, you must preorder your meal and share any dietary requirements in advance. The menu will change between now and when we gather, so Anne will send an email to all who purchase a ticket early in September to gather this information from you. You must reply to that email within 7 days or your ticket will be refunded. 

As you move into the dining area, you’ll take along a name card with your preorder listed on the reverse, so you don’t need to try to remember what you ordered. There will also be room for you to make note of any changes or additional drinks you order in the course of the night.

You may choose your own seat in the dining room, where you will find a small goodie bag waiting for you.

When you are ready to move on with your evening, please take your name card to the register, and a member of staff will ring you out.

There is no program beyond what is listed above. This is meant to be a casual gathering of wool lovers in the middle of what can be an otherwise hectic week. Please bring your knitting along and enjoy your time together. The restaurant closes at 10 pm, and we have the space until then.

Please note:

• The ticket fee ONLY covers the welcome beverage and the goodie bag. You must pay for your meal and any other drinks you order before you leave the restaurant. Prices for mains currently range from ₤19.90 – ₤29.90. You may see the current menu here, but the menu will change before our time together, so offerings and prices may change as well. 
  
• I have asked that they set up the tables in seating arrangements of 2 and 4 to allow for more comfortable conversing. To fit the arrangement, some will be sat under a sloping ceiling. Do mind your head when getting in and out of your seats!
  
• Ticket sales are final, but you are welcome to gift it or sell it on to someone else at face value. There is no physical ticket, so please inform Anne if you transfer the ticket so she can update the list of attendees and alter the preorder.
• No88 can accommodate for certain dietary requirements, but the kitchen is small and they cannot prevent cross-contamination. If you are at risk for anaphylactic shock, this is not the event for you.

Accessibility:

• There is a small step to enter the restaurant, and then a modern staircase with a railing to the upper floor.
• There are a few steps to get from the room we will gather in to the room we will eat in.
• There is no lift or stairlift in the building.
• There is a disabled bathroom on the ground floor to the right of the kitchen, and the other bathrooms are in the basement of the building.
• The room we will have dinner in does tend to get loud with many people in it. If you need a quieter space for a bit, you can step back into the bar space we will gather in, or make your way back outside for a few minutes.

PRICE: $20 (Roughly ₤15) for your seat, a goodie bag, and a welcome drink. You are responsible to pay the cost of your meal and additional drinks on the night.
